Horticulture Specialist and Maintenance GARDENERs

New Vision Landscapes (NVL) has exciting career opportunities for a Horticultural Specialist and Maintenance Gardeners to join our busy Garden Maintenance division.

Both roles require physical fitness and some heavy lifting while working on a range of commercial sites, executive residential properties, and lifestyle villages throughout the stunning Nelson Tasman region.

  • Horticultural Specialist

For our new Horticultural Specialist, this is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your love for all things plants. Given the importance of this role, you will report to the Managing Director.

To apply, you will need

  • The ability to read maintenance schedules and manage workflow accordingly.

  • Excellent plant knowledge, especially with Roses.

  • Exceptional communication skills with the confidence to liaise with clients and senior management in a professional and positive manner.

  • Experience with maintenance gardening tasks such as spraying, mowing, and weedeating.

  • Completed or working towards an apprenticeship in Horticulture Amenity (Level 3/4), (preferred, not essential).

  • Maintenance Gardeners

Maintenance Gardeners work on a variety of sites ranging from Nelson City to the Abel Tasman. You will be organised, a team player and not afraid of physical work.
